Dr Elize O’Reilly
Dr Elize O’Reilly is a Paediatric Immunologist and Allergist passionate about supporting, educating, and caring for children with allergies and immune concerns.
Dr O’Reilly practices in paediatric immunology, autoimmune disease and across the full scope of allergic disease including food allergy, eczema, insect and drug allergy. Dr O’Reilly has expertise in managing children where there are concerns that their immune system does not work well, and she appreciates family concerns for children who have frequent infections.
As a mother, Dr O’Reilly understands the worry that your child may have food allergies and how best to approach the introduction of allergy foods. She seeks to improve their quality of life of children with allergies and help families to manage their child’s allergies. She has a special interest in food allergen introduction in infants, and teenagers with allergies. Dr O’Reilly is currently undertaking a PhD in teenage allergy.
Dr O’Reilly graduated in Medicine at the University of Sydney in 2010. She trained in Paediatrics with the Mater Children’s Hospital and Queensland Children’s Hospital. Dr O’Reilly completed specialist training with The Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne and Queensland Children’s Hospital, and was awarded her Fellowship in Paediatric Clinic Immunology and Allergy.
