Dr. Russell holds dual qualifications in General Paediatrics and Community Child Health from the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP). Originally from New Zealand, she completed her medical training across various Australian states, including South Australia, Western Australia, and regional Queensland. Recently, she relocated to the Gold Coast to be closer to her family on the East Coast and has embraced it as her home.
With a deep commitment to holistic healthcare, Dr. Russell is passionate about all aspects of paediatrics, including prevention, early intervention, and long-term care. Her dedication to furthering her expertise led her to pursue advanced studies, including a Diploma in Child Health, a Masters in Public Health, Masters in Health Leadership Management, and a Graduate Certificate in Autism Diagnosis (ADOS certified).
Dr. Russell is devoted to making a meaningful impact in paediatric care, consistently going above and beyond to provide a family-centered approach. She approaches every challenge with positivity, no matter how difficult it may seem. As a mother, she intimately understands the challenges and concerns that parents face at every stage of their children's development.
Proud of her multicultural upbringing, Dr. Russell brings a unique perspective to her practice, fostering strong connections with families from diverse backgrounds. Her clinical care is evidence-based and grounded in best practices, ensuring the highest quality of care. She is a member of the Clinical Practice Guidelines and the Australasian Society for Developmental Paediatrics.
