Dr Sarah Taylor is a General Paediatrician who enjoys all aspects of paediatric medicine. She welcomes families with concerns from the newborn period through to adolescence.
She has a particular interest in working with families as they adjust to the challenges of a newborn, and also manages general paediatric issues including asthma, eczema, constipation, concerns of growth, puberty, development and behavior.
Dr Taylor has been working in Paediatric Medicine for over ten years. She recently relocated to the Gold Coast from Sydney where she was working as a General Paediatrician at Royal North Shore Hospital and consulting at The Paediatric Clinic, North Shore Private Hospital.
Prior to this she worked in regional and rural settings across New South Wales, and spent some time working in the Newborn and paediatric Emergency Transport Service providing intensive care medicine to babies and children across the state of New South Wales.
She completed her medical training at The University of Newcastle, and upon completion was awarded The University Award (first place). She was also awarded first place upon completion of the Diploma of Child Health through Children’s Hospital Westmead and was awarded a Mater of Public Health through The University of New South Wales.
Dr Taylor has a young family and understands the many challenges associated with parenthood. She finds it a privilege to support families in understanding and managing the many difficulties that can occur.
