Dr. Sophia Knoblanche is a compassionate and skilled paediatrician. Growing up on the Gold Coast she is thrilled to be back where she belongs, contributing to the well-being of its youngest members. Dr. Knoblanche completed her medical training at the Queensland Children's Hospital, including valuable experience at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
Passionate about all aspects of paediatrics—particularly neonatology and acute paediatric medicine—she feels privileged to work with children and is continually inspired by their joy, resilience, and unique perspectives. Dr. Knoblanche understands that parents know their children best and is committed to taking their concerns seriously. She believes in collaborative care, working closely with families to find the most effective solutions tailored to their needs.
As a mother of two little boys, she understands the stresses and anxieties that can accompany concerns about a child's health, development, or well-being and this informs her dedication to place the care of her patients and their families at the forefront of her practice.
Paediatrics runs Dr. Knoblanche's family and she is proud to continue the legacy of her father, Dr David Pincus, to provide excellent paediatric care on the Gold Coast. When not in the clinic, she enjoys exploring the local area with her family, embracing all the wonderful experiences the Gold Coast has to offer.
Dr. Knoblanche considers it a privilege to be part of her patients' lives as they grow and develop, and she looks forward to building lasting relationships with the families she cares for.
